Can the area of validity of recreational craft insurance be expanded where necessary?
Without a special agreement the insurance is effective only in the Baltic Sea and in its bays, in the channel of Saimaa and Kiel and in Kattegat and Skagerrak; in Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Finnish, Swedish and Danish coastal waters and in Norwegian coastal waters up to Trondheim. If you want to expand the insurance to all Europe or the world, you have to enter into a special agreement.
