What is the difference between real estate insurance and extended real estate insurance?
Real estate insurance is an insurance solution drawn up on the basis of specific risks (fire, lightning or explosion, engagement of the fire extinguishing system, robbery, break-in, intrusion, vandalism, pipe leakage and storm). Extended real estate insurance is based on the principle of all-risks insurance. The direct material damage suffered due to an unforeseen and sudden event is indemnified on the basis of the all-risks insurance. Thereby the restrictions set out in the insurance conditions are applicable.
